| Email Software for Indian Languages |
| E-MAIL SOFTWARE for Indian Languages was a launched recently
by Chennai-based Lastech Systems. The new software facilities
sending E-mails in Asamesse, Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada,
Malayalam, Marati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya,
Punjabi, Sanskrit, Tamil and Telugu. It is to be noted that
except in the case of Tamil, IndoMail is the first E-mail software
for all other 11 Indian languages according to a company press
release. In addition it supports Sinhala and English. |

| IndoMail has been developed in such a way that any E-mail
client software such as Netscape Mail, Microsoft Outlook and
Eudora can be used to read the Indian language mail. It also
supports E-mail services like Hotmail. A free evaluation copy

| The other user-friendly features offered
by IndoMail include Indian language menu supprt (People who
are familier with only Indian languages will find it easy to
use.) These are various easy-to-use keyboard layouts: DOE Phonetic,
Typewriter and Romanised. Indian language message can be composed
easily by using the onscreen keyboard layout. |

| The other features include automatic font selection
while changing the language, and togging between Indian language
and English by pressing a key. The Mail receipient can read
the Indian language mail without installing any additional software
including IndoMail. There is also facility to create WEB pages
in 12 Indian languages. |

IndoMail speaks 12 languages |
| CHENNAI-based Lastech Systems Private Ltd has launched its
e-mail Software - `IndoMail', which facilitates sending e-mails
in 12 Indian Languages. |

| The Languages covered by IndoMail are Assamesse, Bengali,
Gujarati, hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi,
Sanskrit, Tamil and Telugu. A release claimed that except in
the case of Tamil, IndoMail is the first Email software for
all other 11 Indian Languages. |

| IndoMail, priced at Rs.400, ensures that any
Email client software like Netscape Mail, Microsoft Outlook,
Eudora can be used to read the Indian Language mail. It also
supports Email services like Hotmail. |

Indian languages will find it easy to use due to the availability
of menu items in Indian languages), keyboard layouts (DOE Phoenetic,

| Chennai: Lastech Systems Pvt Ltd has launched an e-mail software
- `Indomail' that would facilitate sending e-mail in 12 Indian
languages, according to a release. The languages include Tamil,
